WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN
A graphic designer easily inspired by places & cultures, people & experiences.
I met @twofoldclothing creator Morgan during an intro apparel design class at our university. For me it was a random elective, but I knew right away that Morgan was on track to do amazing things with her skill set. It is incredible to see those seeds grow, because of the dedication that always sets her apart. We collaborated on the line drawing design for this tote, one of the many beautiful pieces in her small batch shop. Check out all her beautiful handmade pieces! I've had my eye on the Krissy Tee for a while 💛😉 Here's to collaborating and creating together.
2017 - the year my loved ones finally understand what I do for a living. I draw...on the internet. All over that sucker.

// "the country of my childhood lives within me with a primacy that is a form of love. It lives within me despite my knowledge of our marginality, and its primitive, unpretty emotions. Is it blind and self-deceptive of me to hold on to its memory? I think it would be blind and self-deceptive not to. All it has given me is the world, but that is enough. It has fed me language, perceptions, sounds, the human kind. It has given me the colors and the furrows of reality, my first loves. The absoluteness of those loves can never be recaptured: no geometry of the landscape, no haze in the air, will live in us as intensely as the landscapes that we saw as the first, and to which we gave ourselves wholly, without reservations." -Eva Hoffman //
Feeling like an architect on this old drafting table.

The Legend of Theodosia: "Thoedosia was the daughter of Aaron Burr (Yep Hamilton fans, that Aaron Burr) and the wife of South Carolina governor Joseph Alston. Mysteriously, the ship she was on disappeared in 1812. She had been sailing from Charleston to New York, and it is believed the ship may have been attacked by pirates. So the story goes, her portrait was washed up on the shore of Bald Head Island on North Carolina’s coast, but Theodosia was never found."
