I hope you like scrolling! Back to the college stomping grounds for a bit! App State graduation day has got to be the best thing that ever happened to Boone tourism. All of us washed up Alumni continually go back to relive the glory days.
This year in Europe was the longest I've gone without visiting the mountains probably in my whole life - between growing up with yearly camping trips and weekend cabin memories, to 4.5 years of learning the area all over again everyday between classes. There are so many new small businesses popping up I had to try out (Farm2Flame food truck, & Appalachian Cookie Co anyone?!), and now Boone even has it's own Snapchat icon. I feel a little old. We didn't even have snapchat! We had to walk uphill both ways in the snow to class. Without Snapchat. #classof13
The Mast General Store, Espresso News latte's, Local Lion donuts, Howard's Knob views, Blue Ridge Parkway trails, Tom Dula Hill (MIle 264 on the parkway), Valle Crucis Park, a Proper fresh dinner, and time with special people & bluegrass tunes all throughout. I love this little community of cozy outdoor life. These are definitley the places I will always come back.
